Someone became a movie or a TV star at their early age. And unfortunately, not every succeeds as they grown up. While some former child are still acting in hit movies and television series today like they once ever were. Other stars, have moved primarily behind the spotlight and outside of the entertainment industry. Let’s take a look back at how these famous child stars have grown into adults over the years, and what they look like now.
1. Macaulay Culkin
Macaulay first became a household child star 30 years ago, all thanks to Home Alone. Released on Nov. 16, 1990, the film became a holiday blockbuster, and audiences fell in love with young Macaulay as he portrayed Kevin McCallister, the mischievous 8-year-old.
From then on, little Macaualay was everywhere. He was also given a part in Michael Jackson‘s music video for “Black Or White. At 14 years old, he had 10 movies under his belt and decided to attend a private high school in Manhattan. Then in the early 2000s he kind of just disappeared, resurfacing briefly with a role in Saved! Macaualay struggled with addiction for some time, but has since been clean and sober. His career is also getting new life, with roles on shows like Doll Face and the most recent season of American Horror Story.
