The head of the Gestapo, Heinrich Mueller, is the most senior Nazi whose fate is so far unknown. Heinrich Müller was one of the most notorious members of Hitler's Third Reich during World War II. Mueller, who ran the Gestapo secret police before and during World War II, was last seen in Adolf Hitler's bunker in Berlin the day after the Nazi leader's suicide in 1945.
