Casey Kasem is an American icon. He is known for his "America's Top 40" on radio and for the voice of Scooby-Doo's friend Shaggy. Kerri Kasem, daughter of legendary radio host Casey Kasem, was given temporary custody of her father in May 2014. Because the then 82-year-old had Parkinson's disease. According to Kerri, her stepmother, Jean Kasem, had not allowed Kasem to see his children for some time, and his whereabouts were unknown at the time. Less than two months later, Kasem died.
