American producer, writer and director Norman Lear is recognized by the world with his iconic works of 1970s television characters, including the bigoted blowhard Archie Bunker in the sitcom All in the Family, Sanford and Son, and One Day at a Time. Nowadays he turns 100 in July, but shows no signs of slowing down. Currently he’s also been the host of a podcast, entitled All of the Above With Norman Lear.
