This bio-climatic solar house designed by Eric Wasser acts as a 3D sundial which follows the path of the sun in its daily cycle to capture solar energy for free heating in the winter months, while cooling the living space and storing the solar energy in summer.
An exceptional design in wood, glass and concrete, the Heliodome makes the most of solar energy and eliminates C02 emissions. It fulfills Wasser’s dream of an environmentally friendly dwelling, although the locals are uncertain about the architectural oddity, claiming it looks like a spacecraft.
