A Bathtub-equipped Tiny Mobile Home

Saundra-Lynn Gallows is my name, and I am a graphic designer, artist, and passionate kayaker. Recently, I have taken up the mantle of a tiny house builder. My spouse, Shannon Gallows, is an artist, a licensed art therapist, and an enthusiastic kayaker as well. Together for seven years, we have explored various places and indulged in exciting experiences as travel and adventure are integral to our persona. In our household, we have a pug named Charlie and a Himalayan cat called Leonardo DiCatrio.
During my adulthood, I resided in San Francisco and New York City, where I developed a fondness for compact living spaces. The limited area taught me to be conscious of the items I bring into my living quarters, and I relished the sensation of being surrounded only by my essential possessions and treasured belongings. However, growing up in a rural environment led me to yearn for the same surroundings as I entered my thirties.
That is where the idea of a tiny house came in. Three and a half years ago, my partner and I visited an RV convention, and upon exploring the miniature homes on display, we both concluded that we could comfortably dwell in a comparable space. Fortunately, my partner Shannon also shares my passion for nature and countryside, and may even be a bigger advocate for it than I am.
