2. Lines Bros Tudor Dollhouse (Original Price: $100-$200* Worth Today: $5,700*)
Back in the late 1800s, Joseph Lines' three sons and their uncle teamed up to create the Tri-ang Company. This company gained quite a reputation for its collection of dollhouses, which beautifully captured the architectural trends of that era. They had both stunning interiors and exteriors, showcasing a variety of house styles such as country homes, bungalows, modern houses, luxurious mansions, and, of course, the ever-popular Tudor houses.
Among all these designs, it was the Tudor homes that stole the show and held the most value. The Lines brothers' Tudor design remained unchanged until the late 1950s, and it became an absolute hit. Just to give you an idea, a particular Tudor house called the Peggy Lines House, crafted in 1936, was sold at auction by Bonhams for a whopping sum of nearly $6,000 in 2011. That's quite a remarkable price for a dollhouse!
