Alan Ruck
Then
While Alan Ruck gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Ferris Bueller's best friend in the beloved film Ferris Bueller's Day Off, his baby face wasn't as prominently seen in the years following. Despite playing the 17-year-old character of Cameron at the age of 29, Ruck's youthful appearance landed him the teenage role. After the 1986 film, he took on a few smaller roles before finding success in the television series Spin City, where he starred from 1996 to 2002. Ruck also showcased his talents on Broadway, notably starring in The Producers. Though his career may not have mirrored the same level of fame as his breakout role, Ruck's versatile acting abilities continue to leave a lasting impression.

Now
Ruck has been in movies like The Happening and Don't You Forget on Me, a documentary on the life of John Hughes, since playing the lead role in the 1980s smash. He has also aged out of his young visage. In 2005, he returned to the stage after making appearances on Scrubs and Stargate Atlantis. At that time, he met Mireille Enos, the woman he would later marry and have a daughter with. Ruck secured a lead part in the summer miniseries Persons Unknown in 2010.
