We Used to Be Hunting Small Humans (Sort of)

New evidence from an ancient butchery site in Tanzania suggests that early humans were skilled at ambushing herds of animals much earlier than previously believed. They developed complex hunting techniques and successfully killed antelopes, gazelles, wildebeest, and other large animals at least two million years ago.
Researchers from Australia and Indonesia have discovered the remains of a species of humans that lived approximately 18,000 years ago. These humans were hobbit-like in size, similar to the average height of a 3-year-old child. They coexisted with pygmy elephants and enormous lizards, creating a unique environment.
