Early Humans Left Africa Over 1 Million Years Ago

Our modern human ancestors, Homo sapiens, originated in Africa. The "Out of Africa" theory suggests that these ancestors left the continent and migrated to Europe and Asia, eventually replacing the previous human species, Homo erectus. Interestingly, Homo erectus also followed a similar migration route from Africa to Eurasia over 1 million years ago, indicating that our idea of migration was not entirely original.
